Surprise Proposal at Crystal Bridges

It’s hard to believe that it’s been a little over a year since Kyle and Olivia got engaged, and now in a few months it will be their first anniversary. So, picture this: it’s a year ago, chilly and fall, and the earth is starting to quiet down for the winter. You go for a little couples session with your doggies, for Christmas cards. Over to the side, your boyfriend lets your photographer know that he’s gonna be popping the question on the shoot. Now you’re the only one not sweating bullets at your session!

But for real, watching the sheer shock and amazement on Olivia’s face when Kyle began to propose was worth every bit of nervousness. Probably more-so for Kyle than for me, ha! These moments are so special to capture. If you’re planning to propose, and you know that your partner is comfortable with the moment being a little less private, I highly recommend looking into having someone photograph the moment for you! Looking back on the reactions is priceless, and reliving the moment can give y’all the best butterflies, for years to come.
