Headshots and Branding in Downtown Fayetteville
Something that is so important when you are transitioning into a new career phase, starting a new business, or re-branding yourself: new photos! Today I’m featuring these two rockstars with their headshots we shot last year! Also, just for the sake of invoking your own creativity-these two sessions were shot in the same general area-near and around the Fayetteville Square! There is so much to be said for looking at one place through different eyes and in different times to gain inspiration for your shoots!
Megan graduated and became a certified PA last year! She landed a job and needed a few headshots to commemorate it. While there were still some pretty flowers lingering, we hit up the square. Check out that white coat! So profesh! It’s gotta feel pretty cool to get one of those with your own name on it after all that hard work!
Baillie entreprenuered it up and started working as a virtual assistant last year and is killing it! Our session was in December, and it was cooold. But like, can you even tell? Baillie’s outfit was also fantastic. Listen, if she can make a band tee look that professional, then imagine just what she could do for you as a virtual assistant. If you want to check her out or find out what a VA is, find her website here!
Here’s the deal:
I love doing shoots like this, because I love the idea of making people (especially women, but everyone!) feel like they are BRILLIANT and BEAUTIFUL and POWERFUL! You, my friend, can change the world. You may feel like you are only doing tiny things. Just remember, butterfly wing flaps. Or something like that. If you’re doing just one small thing that helps someone else in ANY way, you are changing the world. That’s just a cold hard fact.
So, believe me when I say that I am here to make you shine. All us photographers are. You don’t even need to have a career change to get some shots done. You deserve to feel awesome, and if a photoshoot is what can make that happen…I say book it!
When you hear “branding yourself” you may think that’s only focusing on career. But you can brand your own self. Brand yourself as a BAWSS. Or as a sweet, goofy, friendly face that anyone can talk to. Branding can be for your online presence, for your website, for your new Facebook profile picture, honestly, whatever!
Whenever the time comes that you are ready to get some portraits done of yourself, I’ll be right here waiting, to make your dreams a reality!
