Gibbs Bright and Happy Session
Nothing like walking around town with friends and taking bright and joyful pictures of them and their cute lil toddler! Seriously, MJ’s smile could lift an 18-wheeler if she looked its way. And her parents have similar effects! Back in April, I offered half-sessions for a limited time, and when the Gibbs hit me up for it, I got so excited! I love having repeat clients, especially when I’ve gotten to photograph their kid since birth (and them for even longer!) Toddlers can be hard to photograph, partially because they are just going to do their own thing, but also because they usually have no idea who the person is behind the camera. Thankfully we are getting to combat that a little bit, and goodness, if nothing else, Caleb can get her smiling! He’s a toddler whisperer (most of the time.) At the end of the session, Caleb went to pick MJ up and she was very meh about it. He’s much more fun making goofy faces behind me!
My favorite part of this shoot (other than the people in it) are all the bright, happy colors that we found around downtown Bentonville. There’s so much to see there, and between that and MJ’s cheese…I mean, see for yourself.
Can you feel it?
School’s starting back up, and cooler weather is almost here! That doesn’t mean it’s too early to book a session, though! I’ve got openings from August to December, and if you want a spot on the calendar, might as well book it now!
I personally can’t wait for some more oranges and reds to pop up, the breeze to be a little crisper, and the spooky season to hit. Just because it won’t be wildflower season doesn’t mean your pictures can’t be bright and cheery! When I was younger all I cared about was summer, but now I’m learning to appreciate the fall. Anyway, hit me up! Follow me on Instagram or Pinterest to see what I’m up to. Til then, my friends!
