Best of 2017 || Arkansas Photography

2017 was a crazy year. There were a lot of best moments, and a few not-so-best moments, but for the purposes of this blog, we’ll focus on the good stuff!

For instance (in no particular order):
-Most shoots ever in one year for me!
-Diagnosed with anxiety and IBS (which honestly feels like a load off–Now I know what not to eat.)
-Was in the play Sense and Sensibility at the Arts Center of the Ozarks. Even Caleb got involved! Loved the people I met there.
-Learned a whoooole bunch more about editing and narrowed down my style
-Got Achilles Tendonitis, but after much time and much stretching:
-Finally ran 4 miles again without my ankle flaring up
-Hiked Pinnacle Mountain for the first time (I’ve lived in Arkansas nearly 25 years and only now have I done this…)
-Went on our very first ever family vacation to Florida with my clan! Did I get sunburned? Yes.
-On that note, also got to stand-up paddleboard for the first time, which makes you very, very sore
-Spider Man, Wonder Woman, and Thor were amazing. I think that speaks for itself.

Yada yada yada, let’s get to some of my favorite client photos of the year! So many favorites purely based on how much I enjoy the people within the photos!

Phew and there you have it, all my clients in a nutshell!
But wait, there’s more!

And finally, the highlight of our family vacation: taking a picture with an otter!!

And that, my friends, was the year 2017. Glad that it happened; glad that a new year is around the bend!
